Unfortunately, one of Scout's humans passed and the need has occurred to rehome. Scout is a loving, quirky guy. This sweet pup has been through more than most, and it’s shaped him into a sensitive, thoughtful dog who feels things deeply. Because of his past, he can be anxious in new situations and needs a little time to feel safe. But once he knows he’s okay—once trust is built—his true heart shines. He knows sit, stay, leave it, shake (both paws) and speak He is incredibly loving, loyal, and eager to connect with his person. When he’s comfortable, he leans in for affection, soaks up gentle attention, and forms strong bonds with those who treat him with patience and kindness. He thrives in calm environments and does best with someone who understands that love sometimes grows slowly—but beautifully. -He has only been around very few dogs but does not do well with high energy dogs but seems to do well with seniors (my sisters dog is an older white lab and they do well together).
