From Volunteers for Animals

Morgan is a young adult, spayed, 40-pound female pit bull with a sweet and affectionate personality. She loves going for walks, but since she is quite strong, a no- pull harness is a must. Given the choice between playtime and cuddles, Morgan usually chooses playtime, but will settle in for snuggle time once she has exhausted herself. This stunning girl is highly treat-motivated and is learning to sit and wait patiently for her favorites. Morgan seems to get along with other dogs, but is not a huge fan of cats. Morgan is currently enrolled in the Path to Home Program and will be available for adoption after her training is complete in November. Volunteers For Animals and Orleans Correctional Facility have developed a Dog Training & Fostering Program within the prison that will provide socialization and basic obedience training for the dogs before being adopted. Volunteers For Animals will be pulling dogs from high kill shelters and locally who may be in need of behavioral support to become more adoptable. The dogs will then be transported to Orleans Correctional Facility where they will live with selected inmates who will care for them 24 hours per day for approximately 8 weeks…

How adopting PTH Morgan works

Volunteers for Animals decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
