Precious may not have had the easiest start in life, but you would never know it from her joyful spirit. Before coming to the shelter, she spent most of her life in a home with many other dogs, often having to compete for food and attention. Despite that, Precious has never let her past define her. Today, she’s a happy, wiggly girl who greets each day with a smile and reminds us just how resilient dogs truly are. She absolutely adores people and will happily soak up every scratch, cuddle, and bit of attention you have to offer. Her favorite place is outside, whether she’s lounging in the sunshine, chasing toys, or taking a gentle stroll. Because of her past, Precious has participated in many dog meet-and-greets at the shelter as an effort to get a better idea of her comfort levels! She is polite and friendly with other dogs. Precious enjoys all canine games including a good game of chase, tug or good old fashioned wrestling—she has been doing wonderfully with the dogs in her foster home!
