From Mutts in Need

Meet Posey, a 4 year old, 7-pound darling with a sophisticated look that belongs on a Hamptons getaway. Rescued from a difficult past, Posey is a sensitive soul who takes a little time to decide who is part of her "inner circle." She isn't the type to rush the door for a stranger, but she blossoms beautifully once she recognizes a familiar face. Her absolute favorite place in the world is being carried—held close in your arms is where she feels safest. While she is still learning to be brave on a leash, she is a champion cuddler who is perfectly content being your tiny, portable companion. Confidence is a journey for Posey, so she is looking for a home with another dog to help show her the ropes and give her the courage to explore. If you have a patient heart and a cozy spot in your arms for this 4-year-old beauty, you can apply to meet her at https://www.muttsinneed.org/adoption-application.html

In the rescue's own words, as they published it.

How adopting Posey works

Mutts in Need decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
