Pippin is currently enrolled in the 12-week Puppies 4 Parole program through the Mo Department of Corrections. He will graduate towards the end of November and will be available for adoption at that time. If you are interested in adopting Pippin, please complete an application and the foster parent will contact you. Meet Pippin Pippin is a 2-year-old curious, kind-hearted pup who truly wants to make his human happy. His storyline almost ended far too soon. Pippin was pulled from the euthanasia list after experiencing extremely high levels of stress in the shelter environment. Now that he’s out of the shelter, he has the opportunity to show who he really is—and he’s already making incredible progress. Pippin is smart, treat-motivated, eager to learn, and looking for someone who will give him the confident, consistent leadership he needs to thrive. He is already crate trained, potty trained, and housebroken, and he is friendly with both cats and dogs. He loves learning and responds especially well to treats, praise, structure, and clear direction. Pippin does best when his person takes the lead and shows him what is expected.
