From Marion County Animal Services
Just like his namesake, Percy Jackson has faced some big challengesâbut he's proven that he's brave, resilient, and ready for his next adventure. When Percy first arrived at the shelter as a stray, he was extremely fearful and overwhelmed. He growled, bared his teeth, and rushed the kennel door because the shelter was a scary, unfamiliar place. With patience and time, Percy has learned that people can be trusted.Today, Percy is easy to leash, enjoys attention, happily accepts treats, and loves spending time with people. He also enjoys playing with other dogs and can often be found splashing around in the pool with his canine friends. Now Percy Jackson is searching for his own Camp Half-Bloodâa foster, rescue, or forever home where he can continue building confidence and enjoy the happy ending he's worked so hard for. If you're ready for a loyal companion to join you on life's adventures, Percy Jackson is ready to answer the call.
