Peanut (AL) may be tiny, but he’s already perfected the art of stealing hearts. 4.5 months old (as of mid June 2026), this adorable pup (parents were Lab mixes, but Peanut seems to have his own look!) was rescued from a dangerous life in the wild along with his sister—no momma in sight, just two little nuggets determined to make it in the world. And Peanut? He’s been charming everyone ever since. He’s the kind of puppy who looks at you like you hung the moon, wags his whole body instead of just his tail, and toddles around with the confidence of someone who has absolutely no idea how small he is. Happy, sweet, and endlessly adorable, Peanut is ready to trade shelter life for a forever home stocked with love, snacks, and maybe a cozy lap or two. Peanut is housetrained and walks well on a leash after that little burst of excitement at the prospect of a walk! If you’re looking for a cute little guy who will grow into a loyal, loving companion (and probably your favorite shadow), Peanut is your boy. Apply to adopt him at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org. Peanut's adoption fee is $575.Please be sure to reference this pet's name as Peanut (AL) in case of duplicate names within the rescue…
