From Minnesota Pit Bull Rescue

Hi! My name is Oryn, but my foster parents call me Mr. September! I’m a 3- to 4-month-old bundle of energy, curiosity and goofy puppy charm. As you can clearly see, I’m super handsome and always ready to investigate whatever you’re doing, especially if snacks are involved. I’m an active, confident little guy who loves to train, play tug and learn new things. I’m extremely food motivated, which makes teaching me especially fun. I’m already learning “out” while playing tug, practicing my leash skills and sitting politely before going through doors. Although I have plenty of puppy energy, one of the most important things I need right now is sleep, about 16 to 18 hours a day! When I’m awake, I thrive with short training sessions, enriching play and calm, positive exposure to the world. Then I need help settling down for a proper nap. A consistent routine of activity, training and rest will help me grow into a confident, well-adjusted dog and a wonderful ambassador for Pitbull-type pups. I’m already doing pretty dang great in my crate. I may cry briefly when my foster parents first put me inside, but it’s happening less and less, and sometimes I don’t cry at all! They’re teaching me…
