Adoption Donation $399 Located: New England Age: approx 7-9 years old Weight: 11 lbs. Meet Octavia ❤️ Octavia and her siblings were rescued from a breeder, where they spent years living in crates. Even with her difficult past, Octavia is a happy go lucky little girl. She does not have a mean bone in her body and is enjoying what it means to feel safe, loved, and truly part of a family. Octavia has come a long way in just a short time in foster care. She walks great on the leash and has made great progress with house training. She will use pee pads and go outside, but adopters should expect accidents as she continues learning and adjusting after years of living in a kennel environment. In the past she has experienced some hematomas in her ears, which have caused them to become smaller and thicker. She has also been treated for a severe ear infection but is on the upswing and feeling much better now! Octavia is adjusting to life as part of a family but as with any transition she will need a patient adopter who will allow her to decompress and learn at her own pace. At first, she should be kept on leash or in a securely fenced yard until she feels safe in her new environment. This…
