Nell started out in life as the feral pup of a feral mom. She was rescued at a young age and has been in our care virtually her entire life. She has lived at our home base Windsong Ranch and in two different foster homes. She's currently in a foster home where she has really polished her leash-walking skills. She sleeps in a crate at night and takes daily leash walks. She enjoys time in the yard with two other senior dogs - a male Great Pyrenees and a female Pyr/Anatolian Shepherd mix. Nell is a very sweet dog, easy to manage. She has lived with a variety of dogs -- different breeds and ages and sizes. She has also lived with cats, though that was several years ago, so if you have cats, she would need careful introductions. Nell enjoys petting and brushing but she isn't demanding, making her the perfect dog for an adopter with a busy schedule. She can motivate you to take those daily walks you need for your own health and well-being, and she will gladly nap nearby as you work from home or watch TV.
