WATCH MY VIDEO...Myko is a beautiful American Staffordshire Terrier mix who is hoping that the third time’s the charm when it comes to finding his true forever home. He lived with his family for seven months and, through no fault of his own, found himself back at the shelter after his family lost their home. Myko didn’t do anything wrong. In fact, most of what he did was RIGHT! This handsome boy is wonderfully sweet, affectionate and friendly, even though he can be a little nervous at first. Once he gets comfortable, his loving personality shines through. Our staff and volunteers say Myko is a friendly boy who is pretty good on leash, loves spending time with people and is always happy to head outside for some exercise and fun. Myko has lived with adults and children as young as one year old, and he has done well with other dogs, too. He knows some basic commands, including sit, stay and down, and he is VERY motivated by treats, which makes him eager to learn more. He loves toys, enjoys running outside and is always ready for a little playtime. Now, Myko does have one important quirk: cats. He simply does not understand why chasing them is considered unacceptable behavior…

How adopting MYKO works

Humane Society of Broward County decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
