UPDATE!!✨ Meet Moxie! She and her siblings and mom (Melody) were found several weeks back by a Good Samaritan in the freezing temps. Sweet Melody was thin and doing all she could to survive and keep her babies alive. Moxie is now 9 months old. Mom is a Shepherd mix around 40 lbs. Dad is unknown. Moxie weighs around 30ish lbs now. She’s playful and sweets settling into her new foster home and doing awesome. She’s utd, dewormed, spayed and ready for the perfect family! Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. All dogs have a $195 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. All rescues and shelters practice pediatric spay and neuter. This is essential in our rescue efforts and it is a policy that we will stick by. All dogs over 8 weeks and 2 pounds will be altered before adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule on all healthy and adoptable dogs. We have researched and discussed in depth with multiple vets…

How adopting Moxie works

Wags and Whiskers Animal Rescue League decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
