Hi! My name is Missy and I am looking for a forever home. I was picked up as a stray when I was just a puppy and taken to a scary place called a shelter. I was not reclaimed and no one wanted to adopt me as I came in pretty skinny, lots of fleas and missing a lot of hair; however, the shelter folks took care of me as best they could and contacted a small local rescue to see if they could take me as I was running out of time. A volunteer with that rescue contacted BCAA to see if they could help me and they said yes! I appear to be an australian shepherd mix and the vet thinks I'm about 5-6mo old and currently weigh a little under 40lbs, so the thinking is I'm probably going to be a little on the larger size when full grown. While I was a little scared & shy upon first arriving at my fosters, I'm a smart girl and it didn't take me long to learn I was safe, got regular good meals and treats, enjoyed some good loving, and had lots of fun playing with the other foster dogs. I have done really well in my crate without any accidents or tearing up of my bedding & will go in when asked; however, I would prefer to be out with you and may let you know not to forget about me if I see or hear…
