Mira came to us as part of an operation in where over 145 dogs and one kitten were rescued out of a "house" in Florida. They were living in deplorable conditions. But this pup seems to be resilient and eager to live a full life with someone that is willing to give her a chance. She still needs to learn how to fully trust humans and love them. She can be shy, but warms up nicely. When she came to her foster's home, she was scared but immediatly settled and found comfort from the human child! Since the child is not full time at the foster's home, Mira forgets that she knows this child and has to start the trusting process over each time. Mira is sometimes very affectionate and will snuggle/give kisses, but she's mostly a busy-body who wants things on her terms. She will, however, stand straight up on her hinds legs when she knows her foster mom wants to pick her up! Mira is also an inquisitive littel gal and will get into anything and everything she can; a watchful eye on this one is required! Mira should not be left unattended under any circumstance, as she's very cat-like and will figure out a way to get where she wants.... like up onto the kitchen counter, or up on a cat tower!…
