UPDATE* Meet Milo! Hes an adorable Corgi/Shih Tzu mix. Unfortunately, he’s too puppy and plays too rough with the senior small dogs in his home and is looking for the perfect playful home. Hes 7 months old and 20-30 lbs. He is shaved down in his pic for summer but does have thicker/longer hair. He is great with dogs but playful and kids. He will complete his vetting 8/26/26 and will then be adoption ready. We are taking applications now! Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals. All dogs have a $195 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. All rescues and shelters practice pediatric spay and neuter. This is essential in our rescue efforts and it is a policy that we will stick by. All dogs over 8 weeks and 2 pounds will be altered before adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule on all…

In the rescue's own words, as they published it.

How adopting Milo works

Wags and Whiskers Animal Rescue League decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
