Motherly Millie has spent most of her life being someone's "Mother" over and over again for no reason except to make money for an insensitive owner. Now, just four months after her last of many litter, she is finally getting the chance to discover what it feels like to simply be someone's beloved dog. Millie is a beautiful, white, 58 pound Standard Poodle who was purchased as a puppy to be a breeding mother. For the past five years, she lived outdoors with her canine companions and raised litter after litter of puppies producing income for the owner. No love shown to Millie...just expectations to "produce and perform" her duty as a mother dog. Her last babies were born just four months ago, so Millie is still very much a girl who has spent her life giving everything she had to caring for others. Now, her life is changing. When Millie was surrendered, Critter Cavalry was proud to step in and promised to help her find the kind of home she has never known — a real home where she can come inside, be part of a family, be loved for who she is, and finally have someone take care of her.
