Spotlight on Mia Mia was rescued in California after she and her sister were left behind at a groomer. She’s a 5-year-old female Dorgi, a Corgi-Dachshund mix. Mia is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and in good health. She is smart, protective, loving, and independent. She may take a few days to warm up to new people, but treats help her feel more comfortable. Once she trusts you, Mia enjoys belly rubs, playing with her toys, chewing on her split elk antler, and running around the yard. She has a wonderful personality and is very loyal to her favorite person. Mia is content to relax and chew on her antler while you work, so she doesn’t need constant attention. When she’s ready for affection, she’ll happily put her antler aside to spend time with you. What Mia Needs: Mia is looking for a home where she can be the only pet, without children or small animals. She loves attention and needs someone who can give her lots of love and care. A fenced yard is important for her potty breaks and walks.
