UPDATE!!✨ Meet Maxie. This sweet boy and his sibling were saved from rural Mississippi. They are adorable 5-6 month old Bully/Cur mix pups. They are around 30-35ish lbs and full of personality. They are super sweet and playful pups. They are going to be large sized dults. They are settling into foster and doing amazing. They are great with all animals and kids. They will be ready in NEXT week once they get their second round of vaccines and they are altered! Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. All dogs have a $195 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. All rescues and shelters practice pediatric spay and neuter. This is essential in our rescue efforts and it is a policy that we will stick by. All dogs over 8 weeks and 2 pounds will be altered before adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule on all healthy and adoptable dogs. We have researched and discussed in depth with multiple vets everything…

In the rescue's own words, as they published it.

How adopting Maxie works

Wags and Whiskers Animal Rescue League decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
