Matilda was born without a kneecap on her right back leg, which gives her a pretty unique way of getting around. She runs a little funny—almost like she has a peg leg—but don't let that fool you! She can still use the leg for support and balance, and her leg doesn't slow her down one bit! Because she has figured out how to use it and gets around just fine, the best plan is to leave her leg as it is. When Matilda first arrived in rescue, she was a little shy, but she has really come out of her shell. She is now a happy, friendly little pup who is ready to find a family of her own! Matilda's leg certainly doesn't define her. She loves being a puppy and is ready to play, explore, and enjoy life just like any other pup. She would do great in almost any type of home or apartment.
