My name is Manny, and I'm hoping that somewhere out there is a person or family looking for a best friend just like me. Before you meet me, I'd love to tell you a little about my story. Life didn't start out very easy for me and my brothers. We spent our early puppy months living in a van with our owner. Five of us puppies were crowded together in a small kennel that was dirty, cramped, and far from the kind of place where puppies should grow up. We were underweight, suffering from mange, and had never received proper veterinary care. At the time, I didn't know life could be different. Then one day, everything changed. A kind woman from Pets to Vets, a pet transportation company, arrived to transport us to a boarding facility while our owner was hospitalized. When she saw the condition we were in, she knew we needed help. Instead of looking the other way, she became the first person to give us a real chance. At the boarding facility, a veterinarian treated our mange and gave us our first vaccinations. For the first time, people were helping us heal.
