Meet Manny: a tiny, ancient gremlin disguised as a dog, powered entirely by naps, spite, and sheer force of personality. Let’s address the obvious: Manny is… not winning any beauty contests. His look can best be described as “well-loved plushie that gained sentience” with a dash of “retired wizard who forgot all his spells except judgment.” But what he lacks in conventional cuteness, he makes up for in *presence*. You don’t adopt Manny for his looks—you adopt Manny because somehow, against all odds, he becomes your entire world. Manny is the definition of sweet… *on his terms*. He adores cuddling, will happily melt into your lap like a warm, slightly grumpy potato, and believes bedtime should be observed at all hours of the day. If you’re sitting, he’s sitting on you. If you’re lying down, congratulations—you now have a small, snoring paperweight. However. And this is important. If you attempt to make Manny do something he has not personally approved—moving him, bathing him, trimming nails, suggesting exercise—he will transform.
