Meet Mama! Mama is a young mixed-breed girl estimated to be 1–1½ years old, about 33 pounds, whose story is nothing short of remarkable. Before she was rescued, she somehow managed to survive in rural Georgia while raising two little healthy, happy puppies completely on her own. Despite the challenges she faced, she never lost her gentle spirit or her love for people. She proved to be an incredible first-time mom, protecting and guiding her babies through their first few weeks of life while making sure they grew into the playful, confident puppies they are today. Now it's finally Mama's turn to be cared for. She is so wonderfully sweet, affectionate, and people-oriented. If you sit down, she'll happily curl up beside you for cuddles, and if you offer a tummy rub, you've officially become her new best friend. She has a calm, docile personality that makes everyone who meets her fall in love. Mama is also very smart and quick to pick up new tricks. Although she's only been living with people for a few weeks, she's already potty trained, crate trained, and has learned commands like sit, lay down, and crate.
