Location: Middlebury, VT Meet the most marvelous Maggie! This adorable pint sized heeler girl was found at a shelter after being left by her people who kept her puppies and surrendered her. Though her story starts out sad, the ending is not! Maggie is joyful and full of life, ready to play with anyone who will throw her ball, wag her cute little stub tail when she meets someone new, and curl up with her favorite people at the end of the day. She is 2-3 years old and weighs in at 31 lbs, the perfect size for adventures or a quick scoop into the arms, where she will happily hang out and give face snuffles. She is truly a velcro girl, ready to be by your side at all times. Maggie walks beautifully on a leash and loves to explore the neighborhood and trails. She has gone for some runs already and will make an excellent running or hiking companion. She is reliably and fully housetrained and will use a crate, though it is not her favorite place. She would prefer to sleep at night curled up next to someone in the human bed. She has been staying in a crate while her people are away from the house, though will need some work on her comfort with this if left for longer periods of time. She…
