Madea is about 4 years old and came to us from a shelter in Northern California, where she was extremely scared, undersocialized and overwhelmed by the shelter environment. We were already there pulling another dog when we saw her, and we just couldn’t stand the thought of her losing her life simply because there were too many dogs and not enough space. Once you give Madea a little time to warm up, you discover the sweetest, gentlest little girl. House trained Calm and quiet Nice house manners Not destructive Male AND female dog friendly Loves to cuddle Gentle, soft personality Sadly, Madea has spent about 4½ months in boarding simply because we didn’t have an open foster space for her. We are so excited to finally get to know her better and would LOVE to find her either a foster home or, even better, a forever family of her very own. We honestly aren’t quite sure what breed mix she is — but whatever she is, she’s adorable. Madea would be perfect for someone looking for a nice, gentle dog and a quieter companion.
