Are you looking for the dog equivalent of a #Girlboss? Meet Maddie! Before becoming a Diamond, Maddie had very little socialization with people or other animals. As she has been given the opportunity to expand her social circle, her true personality has started to shine through — and this girl is fun-loving, confident, playful, and just a little bit bossy! Maddie is still a work in progress, and we want to be honest about what she needs in her furever home. She has bonded very strongly with her foster and is, for the most part, an absolute gem with her. However, Maddie experiences significant stranger danger and can be uncomfortable with new people. She can also be reactive when meeting unfamiliar dogs. The wonderful thing about Maddie is that once she trusts you, she truly lets her personality shine. She has bonded closely with her foster fur-siblings and has developed an especially sweet relationship with her little foster fur brother, who she has proudly appointed as her emotional support sidekick. Maddie is currently working with a trainer to help her learn to better manage her emotions and navigate new people and situations. Her forever family will need to be patient…
