She's house-trained, crate-trained, knows her manners, walks beautifully on a leash, and is ready to settle into a forever home where she can truly relax and be loved. Lyla came into rescue with a little extra caution in her heart. When meeting someone new, she may offer a bark or two and take a few steps back. It's simply her way of saying, "Give me a minute.” Just a sensitive girl who likes to get to know people at her own pace. Once she feels safe, though, Lyla transforms into a devoted companion who loves nothing more than being close to her people with snuggles and soaking up affection.
