Meet Luna! A spirited six-year-old German Shepherd currently in Georgetown, TX, whose essence is a devoted companion wrapped in a striking black and tan coat. At about 90 pounds, Luna is a big girl with an equally big love for her people! She is playful, observant, loyal, and happiest when she can be part of the action. This clever Shepherd quickly learns the rhythms and routines of the people around her, making her the kind of companion who seems to know what comes next before anyone says a word. Luna enjoys a good game of tug with her rope toy and treasures her squeaky Kong stuffed animal without turning it into confetti. She knows “sit” and “down,” comes when called, and is house-trained. True to her affectionate nature, Luna has an especially sweet snuggling style. Settle beside her, and she may bury her long snout against your leg or roll onto her back to request the belly rubs she loves! This energetic girl needs an active adult family with experience caring for a large, high-energy dog. A fenced yard, regular exercise, playtime, mental enrichment, and plenty of companionship will help Luna thrive. She is comfortable alone for shorter stretches of about one to three hours…
