Luna's brindle coat does a great job of camouflaging it, but your eyes aren't deceiving you... this seven year-old girl is a tri-pawd! Luna came into the shelter with an amputated right rear limb and it does not slow her down. Despite her hard past, she tries very hard to be brave, and has blossomed in foster care. Luna currently lives with another pup, and would do well in a home with kids or another dog. And to top it all off, her foster mom has this to say: “When she decides to let you love her, there’s nothing more special.” Luna has excellent manners (no jumping, biting, barking, or destroying things!) and is fully housebroken and crate-trained. She’s a calm, gentle gal who is timid and fearful of scary new places, but adores the tight-knit people around her. This homebody pup takes time to adjust to new environments but will gladly go for walks in her neighborhood any day. She also enjoys sunbathing and snuggling on the couch, running around in the backyard, and playing with stuffed toys. If you’re interested in meeting Luna, click on the “Adopt Me” button to submit an inquiry to her foster mom. It’s not a commitment to adopt, but an opportunity to…

In the rescue's own words, as they published it.

How adopting LUNA works

Fulton County Animal Services decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
