From Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas

I’m Lulu, a 10‑year‑old Boston Terrier auntie weighing a dainty 15 pounds, with a big personality and an even bigger sense of how the day should go. I like to wake up at 7 AM on the dot, enjoy my dinner at 5 PM sharp, and settle myself right in the middle of the dining room floor under the fan, usually while wearing my favorite little sweater. I may be mostly blind and mostly deaf, but I move through life with calm confidence and a touch of quirky flair. I used to keep my distance, but lately I’ve been warming up in the sweetest way. I’ve started coming over to ask for scratches and soft affection, and I’m discovering that gentle love is actually pretty wonderful. I’m housetrained as long as there’s enough light for me to see, and I do expect an escort to the door—proper etiquette for a senior lady. I adore sunbathing and exploring the yard slowly and thoughtfully. I’m peaceful, steady, and full of quiet charm, the kind of little auntie who brings a soft, cozy rhythm to the home. I don’t do stairs or pools, and I’m perfectly happy in an apartment where life moves at a gentle pace. I’m also wonderfully trustworthy when left home alone—I’ll nap, supervise the sunshine, and wait for…
