Learning About Lilya Lilya’s story with us began in Perris, CA. We originally went to pick up, Paris (we believe they are sisters). When we returned for Lilya, we discovered she had already given birth—to 10 puppies (the “Aircraft Litter” ).It took her a little time to settle in, but once she did, we got to see a different side of her—and we’re so glad we did.Lilya is a gentle soul who has really come into her own after decompressing and receiving consistent care. Once she felt safe and well-fed, she proved to be a calm, attentive, and devoted mama. She enjoys spending time outdoors and is very alert and aware of her surroundings. Her doghouse is one of her favorite places, giving her a sense of comfort and security. What we’ve observed so far: A good, attentive mother Enjoys outdoor time and a quieter environment Very observant and aware Finds comfort in her doghouse/safe space Has not shown aggression toward peopleLilya is still very much a “blank slate” in many ways. She hasn’t yet been introduced to leash walking or basic obedience, so she’ll need a patient adopter willing to guide her through the fundamentals and help her build confidence at her own pace. She does tend to bark…
