LIAM NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Liam Best Guess for Breed: Schnauzer and terrier mix Best Guess for Age: 3 years as of August 2026 SEX: Male Approximate Weight: 20 lbs Gets Along With: Liam does well with other dogs and needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog. He's also sucessdully been exposed to cats. We haven't seen him with kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: DC area fosterSpecial adoption considerations: Liam is shy and must go to a home with a welcoming resident dog who will show him the ropes! Liam is Looking For: A real home. Liam and some other scruffy cuties that look just like him landed in the shelter. They all are sweet - but scared. Liam hasn't seen nearly enough of the world yet so he's both uncertain about new places and is shy - AND he is eager to make up for lost time! He'd like his own humans for sniffy walks and romps and world exploration. And snuggles, definitely snuggles. Making new pup pals along the way would be great too. And he'd like to go to dog school too - it's never too late to become a scholar! Most of all, he'd like to know where he belongs, to be safe and loved…
