Lela is currently in a foster home. If you’re interested in meeting her, please give us a call so we can coordinate with her foster family!Sweet Lela has spent much of her young life searching for the stability every dog deserves. We first met her when she was just six months old after she was surrendered to the shelter. Like everyone who loved her, we hoped her first adoption would be her forever home. Through no fault of her own, Lela has found herself looking for that special family once again. Fortunately, Lela has been able to decompress in a wonderful foster home, and it has been a joy watching her true personality emerge. The busy shelter environment was simply overwhelming for her, but in a home she blossoms into the goofy, carefree, and incredibly loving girl we always knew was there. While she’s naturally gentle, she’s become so much more confident once given the chance to settle in. Lela has done beautifully with other dogs. She’s respectful, kind, and does a wonderful job reading other dogs’ boundaries. She appreciates companions with a similar gentle play style, and we think she’d enjoy having a canine friend in her future home. As always, we’re happy…
