Meet Layne — A Happy Boy Ready for His Second Chance! Layne is a 3-year-old, 54-pound bundle of happiness who is ready to leave his stray days behind and finally have the loving family he deserves. Layne arrived at the shelter as a stray, and heartbreakingly, no one ever came looking for him. It’s hard to understand how a dog this sweet could have been left behind. Layne has the kind of personality that makes everyone around him smile. He is friendly, affectionate, and an absolute joy to be with. Layne loves everyone he meets, including kids, and he gets along well with other dogs. He has good manners, responds well to correction, and is eager to please. He’s the kind of dog who just wants to be part of the family—and his big, happy smile makes it impossible not to fall in love with him! When Layne isn’t busy enjoying time with his people, he’d be perfectly content relaxing beside you or curling up on the couch for a well-earned afternoon nap. He’s ready for all the simple things every dog deserves: a soft bed, a safe home, people to love, and a family who will never leave him behind.
