Meet Laredo! Laredo spent the first 5 ½ years of his life with the only family he had ever known, from the time he was just a few weeks old. When circumstances changed, Laredo suddenly found himself without the home and family he had known his entire life. Now, this handsome boy is looking for the second chance, and forever home, he deserves.Despite everything he has been through, Laredo is a sweet, smart, people loving boy who enjoys meeting new people and being part of the action. He already knows sit and paw, comes when called, walks very nicely on a leash, and is both house trained and crate trained. He’s also quite vocal and loves a good howl when he has something to say!Laredo is currently spending time with a professional trainer, where he is doing very well and giving us the opportunity to learn even more about him. He has done well with large female dogs and may also be compatible with more submissive large male dogs. He can be selective with confident male dogs, so any potential canine sibling would need to be carefully considered and appropriately introduced.
