Meet Laia — a 1.5-year-old, 49 lb Lab mix with a heart full of love and paws ready to play! Quick Facts: Name: Laia Breed: Labrador/Beagle Mix Age: 1.5 years old Weight: 49 lbs House-Trained: Yes! Crate-Trained: Yes Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Yes Good with Kids: Yes (she jumps a little when excited, but that's being worked on!) Energy Level: Medium to High Fence Required: Yes About Laia’s Breed: The Lab/Hound mix is a friendly, energetic crossbreed that combines the loyalty of a Labrador Retriever with the keen instincts of a hound. These dogs often inherit a strong investigative drive, high intelligence, and a love for outdoor activities like hiking and exploring. Depending on the hound parent—Lab/Hound mixes can vary in size, appearance, and temperament, but they typically weigh between 45–80 pounds and live 10–13 years. They thrive in active homes with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, and they’re known for being affectionate, social, and eager to please. Laia is a social butterfly who absolutely adores other dogs and would love living with a canine sibling to romp and snuggle with, but it isn't necessary. She’s also cat-friendly and loves being around…
