Hey y'all! My name is Lager - nice to meet ya! I come from the great state of KY, but being in rural NJ is a lot like where I was born on 5/24/2022 - I'm still just a youngster. I can't even imagine city life & think it would be too scary for me. My fostermom says I live thru my belly - there's no shame in liking food & treats in my book. Heck, I'll figure out how to do just about anything for a reward! I'm told that I'm goofy in a good way (whatever that means), but my fostermom always seems to be laughing at my shenanigans. The fosterhome I live in has other dogs and a fenced yard and there are tons of toys to chew on 'cause I still like to do that too. My leash training is limited, but I've been told that there may be treats involved in learning about it so sign me up! If you talk to me I look & listen with a head tilt, but I gotta be honest I haven't mastered all the words other than my name, go potty, put…

In the rescue's own words, as they published it.

How adopting Lager works

S&L Animal Rescue, Inc. decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
