From Ventura County Animal Regulation
The shelter staff still need to get to know me before recommending me to a family like yours. Please keep an eye on our website if you are interested as I MAY become available at a later date. Be prepared for advanced/special behavioral needs.
In the rescue's own words, as they published it.
How adopting *KOA works
Ventura County Animal Regulation decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
