From Mutts in Need

Kaia is a young 40lb German Shepherd. She came from Central Valley, CA after her owners used her to breed with their male shepherd but due to complications, ended up wanting to dump her at the shelter. Kaia came to us pregnant and sick. The worst part was, she was suffering a miscarriage with her puppies and unfortunately none of them made it. We don’t want you to feel bad for Kaia, because she’s safe with us now but we do want you to feel angry that people would even do this to her and understand why we promote spaying and neutering your pet. Kaia only knows love and despite what she’s been through, she is an absolute sweetheart with a great personality. She is great with people and dogs and is learning to enjoy being a dog again with her foster dog siblings. If you’d like to give the greatest gift to Kaia and be her forever family, apply at https://www.muttsinneed.org/adoption-application.html

How adopting Kaia works

Mutts in Need decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
