WATCH MY VIDEO...Jupiter is a beautiful 3-year-old boy who is hoping his next home will truly be his forever home. Sadly, his owner could no longer afford to care for him and made the difficult decision to surrender him to us. The cost of caring for a pet is an important consideration for anyone thinking about adoption, and Jupiter is now looking for a family who is prepared to make that lifelong commitment to him. His former owner told us that Jupiter loves people, and we've certainly seen that sweet side of him here. He didn't get out much in his previous life, so having a family who takes him for walks, plays with him and includes him in everyday adventures will be a wonderful new experience. It may take him a little time to adjust to having more activity and stimulation in his life, but we think it will be a very welcome change for this wonderful guy. Jupiter has been understandably nervous since arriving at the shelter, but he's making progress every day as he becomes more comfortable with his new surroundings. In fact, we're already seeing his personality emerge! These days, he greets us happily with a toy in his mouth, which is a pretty adorable way to say hello. Jupiter…

How adopting JUPITER works

Humane Society of Broward County decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
