From Shamrock Rescue Foundation

June Bug is the sweetest girl you'll ever meet. She was brought into a shelter by someone suspected of being her owner, primarily because she has a microchip. The “owner” said she didn’t want the dog anymore and refused to give any information – not even her name. The shelter’s rescue coordinator named her June Bug. She is friendly, calm, easygoing (though she’s been known to tell one of her foster’s dogs to back off when he starts to bug her) and loving. She’s a delightful companion at restaurants that allow dogs, sitting quietly in her stroller as the world goes by. She's curious about other dogs but not overly interested. "Live and let live" seems to be her motto. She likes to be with people and will join you on the sofa as you read or watch TV. She's equally at home sleeping in a dog bed or on your bed, and she loves observing the world from her stroller. June Bug is blind. We don't know why. Her vet hasn't determined a cause, so we are planning to take her to a veterinary ophthalmologist to see if they can shed some light on her situation. Like most dogs, however, blindness doesn't stop her from being a happy girl who enjoys exploring and hanging out. Don't let it stop you…

How adopting June Bug works

Shamrock Rescue Foundation decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
