Jazzy’s journey hasn’t been easy—but his growth has been nothing short of incredible. He came from a heartbreaking hoarding situation and eventually landed at the South Los Angeles Animal Services alongside two of his brothers, Rex and Chavelle. Like so many dogs rescued from hoarding cases, the shelter environment was overwhelming and terrifying. Confused and scared, they displayed fear-based behaviors that sadly placed all three of them on the RED LIST for euthanasia. We’ve seen what patience and love can do for dogs like Jazzy, so we stepped in. When we first met him, he was petrified. He would run from us, sometimes even nip out of fear. But we knew his reactions weren’t aggression—they were survival. Jazzy didn’t want to hurt anyone; he simply had never been shown what safety, kindness, and trust truly look like. This March marks his one-year anniversary at Wagmor. While that might sound like a long time, the transformation we’ve witnessed is beautiful. It took months for Jazzy to understand that hands can be gentle, that voices can be kind, and that he no longer has to be afraid.Today, Jazzy has blossomed in ways that would make anyone proud. He’s gained so much confidence…
