Jax is a 3-year-old, 44-pound mixed breed who may be a little shy when you first meet him, but once he warms up, he’s an absolute love bug! He’ll greet you in the morning asking for belly rubs, welcome you at the door with his big, wiggly happy butt, and happily curl up beside you on the couch. He’s a true shadow dog who just wants to be near his person—and if you allow dogs on the bed, he’s definitely going to take you up on the invitation!Jax has been excellent with his house training and hasn’t had a single accident in his foster home. He isn’t a huge fan of the crate yet and can be hesitant to go inside and whine once he’s in it, so his foster has been working on building positive associations with treats, toys, and other rewards. He still has some work to do before he considers the crate his favorite place.This boy LOVES to play fetch and could chase his ball over and over again! A fenced yard where he can safely run and play would be a dream for him. He also enjoys working on his Kong and would probably have a blast with puzzle toys, scent games, or a snuffle mat. He’s a bright, curious guy who really seems to enjoy having something to do.Jax is a smart boy who is curious…
