Hi there, I’m James! I’m a 1-year-old, 48-pound Terrier mix with a fun-loving spirit and a heart full of gold. If you’re looking for a dog who is as ready for a weekend getaway as he is for a cozy afternoon at home, I’m your guy!I am super friendly with both people and other dogs! I actually made the trip here with my buddy June, so I’m very comfortable around canine pals.I’m already house-trained, great in the car, and big-time treat-driven—which means we’re going to have a blast working on new tricks together! I’m a very loving boy who bonds closely with my people and loves being by their side.I do have separation anxiety and have a very hard time being left alone. I need a home where someone is always home. My family will need to be prepared to work with me on the gradual, sometimes challenging, training that separation anxiety requires. This isn’t something that can be rushed, so my adopters will need to be patient, committed, and able to arrange their schedules so that I’m not left alone while I learn that being by myself is safe. In return, you’ll get an incredibly devoted companion who truly loves being with his people. I’m looking for a home with older kids or adults…
