if you have a little patience and a lot of love, this gal may be your match. Animal Information: Honey is an adorable, 9-month-old Dachshund mix with a bubbly spirit and sweet personality. She was surrendered to our rescue partners in Oklahoma when her owner was no longer able to care for her due to mental health. Honey has been in foster care since, is friendly with other dogs, potty trained and does well in her crate overnight. We can't wait to meet her! Foster Profile: meet Honey! This sweet girl is your typical teenage dog who loves to play. She’s working through some fear and sometimes needs guidance deciding if she’s excited or should be scared. She’ll benefit from a patient home and a confident resident dog to continue teaching her to be comfortable. She can be shy meeting new people but accepts pets especially when the resident dog is also getting attention. She tests the boundaries of using her voice, but is ultimately quiet and good I know her crate. She has some reservations peeing on a leash and is still working through those insecurities, she did not have a problem when fostered in OK with a yard.
