HASSIE NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Hassie Best Guess for Breed: Lab mix Best Guess for Age: 2.5 years old as of July 2026 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 41 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We have tested Hassie with some of the cats at the shelter, and she did not seem particularly interested in chasing or pouncing on the cat. While this is a positive sign that Hassie could live with a cat, she has not done so to our knowledge. If you have cats in your home, we are happy to discuss with you how to best introduce a new pup to your pack! We do not recommend her for a home with kids. Currently Living at: DC area foster home Check out this video of Hassie: https://youtube.com/shorts/i7PkPUSJJhc. Special Adoption Considerations: Because Hassie is shy, she needs to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog who will show her the ropes. Hassie is Looking For: This beautiful girl with the sweetest face can't wait to meet her forever family. She landed in the shelter through no fault of her own but is confident the right humans for her are out there! Hassie is looking for her people - the ones that will love her unconditionally and spoil her rotten with lots of walks, doggy…
