Meet Harriet! Oh hello! I’m Harriet, a sweet and loving Dachshund who believes life is best enjoyed with snackies, sniffing adventures, and plenty of couch cuddles! I love exploring and following my humans around the house. If you’re looking for a little shadow who will happily keep you company, I might be your girl. My favorite place to be is curled up in a lap, snoozing away after a good day of sniffing and snacking. I’m comfortable coexisting with other animals and do great with dog-friendly dogs. I’m also currently in a foster home with young children, and I’ve done a wonderful job going with the flow. I can be cautious when meeting new people and may take a little extra time to warm up—especially with men—but once I figure out that you’re nice, I’m happy to become your cuddle buddy. I’m a very food-motivated girl, which is helping me learn all sorts of things! I’m working on my leash skills and should do well with continued practice and regular leash walks for potty breaks and exercise. I’m not quite fully potty trained yet, but I’m very close when I’m kept on a good schedule. I’m also continuing to work on crate training. I don’t need a fenced yard and could potentially be…
