From Burlington County Animal Alliance

Hi! My name is Hank and I am looking for a forever home. I was picked up by animal control and taken to a scary place called a shelter where, after my hold time was up and no one came to claim me, I was in danger of being placed on the euthanization list. Fortunately for me, a small local rescue saw me and contacted BCAA to see if they could help and they said yes! I appear to be a dachshund mix, maybe mixed with a little chihuahua and that is known as a chi-weenie. I'm around 2 years old so I'm past all of the puppy foolishness stage, and at just a little under 17lbs, I'm not too small and not too big ... I'm just right! When I first got into foster I was still reeling from all of the changes in my life so I was pretty scared; however, it didn't take me long to figure out my foster parents could be trusted and now I love getting attention from them (those treats helped, too!). I have gotten along with most all of the other dogs I have met (except for one bossy guy), and I haven't bothered those things called cats I have encountered. I have also done really well in my crate without any accidents or tearing up of any bedding, but I would really prefer to be out with you and will…

In the rescue's own words, as they published it.

How adopting Hank works

Burlington County Animal Alliance decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
