Gutherie! Oh where do we start with this little guy? He is more of a “You can look but can’t touch” kinda guy! If you are looking for a cuddler or lap dog Guthrie is probably not your guy! He might also be Gremlin. He kinda looks like someone fed him after midnight. “This land is my land, and this land is my land!” That is Gutherie’s motto. Gutherie thinks he is a big herding dog. He feels the needs to herd all the other dogs in the home to keep them in line. Especially at dinner time! Gutherie lets you pet him. On his terms! If you try to pick him up and hold him, he acts like a screaming goat who found out the store was out of his favorite feed. We think he was not handled much. He came from a hoarder with many others. On a good note he is not a biter! Except that one time. Gutherie does not want long walks on the beach or shopping trips to Target. He would rather fly around your house like a 5lb feral pigeon. Gutherie loves other dogs and does not mind cats. He is not a fan of kids. We do not actually know that. However, we do not think he is a fan of humans all together. Is he house trained?
