From Critter Cavalry Rescue

Chihuahuas are some of the most beloved breeds in America today. Their small bodies and tender, loving souls bring the kind of affection that so many people are searching for. They don’t need much space or food, yet they give enormous companionship, loyalty, and joy. These little dogs want to be at the center of their person’s world, creating bonds that last a lifetime and leaving a legacy of love that endures even after they are gone. Grant’s story is one of resilience and hope. He came from a home with too many dogs and not enough care, ending up in a tiny shelter in Tennessee, frightened and unsure of the world. Despite this uncertain past, Grant has a gentle heart and a sweet, affectionate nature that is shining through more every day. Grant is a handsome 1-year-old, 15-pound Chihuahua with the most charming white sock “leggings” that make him truly stand out. He’s a tall little boy with a big heart, and though he can be a bit nervous at first, he is making remarkable progress in just two weeks with us. Like a child a little afraid of the dark, Grant simply needs patience, love, and gentle reassurance. Once he feels safe, he will gladly curl up in your lap, soak up attention…

How adopting GRANT works

Critter Cavalry Rescue decides every adoption: its application, its fee, its home check and its timing. Everybarn only shows this animal on the rescue's behalf, takes no payment and passes no messages.
