From Wish Bone Canine Rescue

Meet Gidget, a two year old brown and white, 9 lb shih tzu. Gidget found her way to Wish Bone after her owner developed stage 4 cancer and needed to move. Her foster family reports Gidget to be housetrained. She gets along well with the other dogs in the home. Her favorite activities are taking walks, riding in the car, following her foster mom around and... eating!! She will gladly help any of her canine friends' finish their meal. Gidget arrived extremely matted and required veterinary grooming... one picture attached shows what her coat looks like when it is longer and the others what she looks like after being shaved down. While she may take a day or two to warm up, this sweet little girl will make some lucky family a wonderful furry companion. She can be very vocal when left alone, so a home without shared walls would be ideal. Her minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 rabies registration fee for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
